The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Leon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Welch somewhat.

Welch scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Leon manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Welch is looking to advance position but Leon won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Welch throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Leon is looking for a sweep. Welch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Welch passes the guard and advances to mount!
Leon tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Welch has the hooks in. Leon is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Welch passes his arm under Leon's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Leon taps!
