The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gracies swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gracies dives in and grabs Gomez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gomez pushes down on Gracies's head and hops out.

Gomez moves into range and clinches up with Gracies.
Gomez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Gracies has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gomez clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
