Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Japheth Vasya !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Doug Wallaby!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Vasya with that takedown attempt.
Wallaby fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Japheth Vasya has been cut.
Vasya closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wallaby to the mat! Wallaby manages to get full guard.
Vasya drops back looking for a leg! Wallaby is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wallaby manages to kick Vasya off! Vasya jumps back into Wallaby's guard.

Wallaby is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vasya is controlling him.
Vasya drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vasya jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Wallaby is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Wallaby keeping full guard, as Vasya tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wallaby is looking to stand up but Vasya isn't so interested in that idea.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wallaby lands a two punch combo.
Wallaby throws a right and a left that Vasya avoids nicely.
Wallaby lands a left and a right that send Vasya crashing to the mat, dazed. Wallaby thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Vasya is rocked!
Wallaby swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Vasya is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vasya looks up at the clock. Bad move! Wallaby lands a right hand from hell, dropping Vasya . Wallaby pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doug Wallaby!
