Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Fwapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuong Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cuong Nguyen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cuong Nguyen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Fwapp will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fwapp blocks a head kick by Nguyen.
Cuong Nguyen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fwapp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nguyen throws a push kick but Fwapp slaps the foot to one side.
Fwapp circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nguyen doesn't manage to clinch there - Fwapp circles away.
Fwapp takes a swing at Nguyen's ribcage but misses.
Nguyen instigates a clinch.
Nguyen is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fwapp is keeping busy.
Nguyen with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Fwapp manages to break the clinch.
Fwapp is looking to score with low kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nguyen slips a straight right by Fwapp.
Fwapp cracks Nguyen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fwapp has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nguyen to stand back up!
It looks like Cuong Nguyen has been cut.
Nguyen lands a head kick. Fwapp smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fwapp lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Nguyen falls backwards - clearly groggy! Fwapp dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Fwapp!
