Bandert shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Palmer pinned against the cage. Palmer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Palmer looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Palmer's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Palmer duly obliges.
Bandert wants to land a leg kick but Palmer is out of range.
Palmer tries to close the distance and clinch but Bandert swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bandert changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Palmer tries to avoid it but Bandert manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Palmer to the ground. Palmer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Palmer tries to clinch up but Bandert circles away and keeps his distance.
Bandert gets the takedown into side control.
Palmer wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bandert is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Palmer is trying to escape and Bandert transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Palmer is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bandert! Very nice indeed!
