The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madafaka bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Madafaka goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sakuraba has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Madafaka but great work by Sakuraba.
Madafaka is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Madafaka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Madafaka looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Madafaka tries to roll over but Sakuraba keeps him under control.
Sakuraba passes to full mount!
Madafaka looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Sakuraba is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Madafaka knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Madafaka for a finish.
Sakuraba is cranking Madafaka's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Madafaka! He's tightened the choke and Madafaka is tapping out!
