The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danger avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brockett throws a series of punches but Danger moves out of range.
Danger showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brockett.
Brockett lunges at Danger with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Danger's hand.
Brockett misses with a few strikes there.
Brockett throws a nice looking combination but Danger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brockett looks to land a right hand but Danger moved out of range.
Brockett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brockett lands a two punch combo.
Danger shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brockett sprawls well. Brockett wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Danger gets slowly back to his feet.
Brockett misses with a jab, cross combination.
Danger ducks right into an uppercut from Brockett.
Brockett throws a right and a left that Danger avoids nicely.

Brockett tries to keep at a distance but Danger has taken the fight into the clinch.

Danger manages to break the clinch.

Danger walks into a left hand.
Brockett stuffs the takedown.
A left and a right from Brockett both land. Nice combination.
Brockett throws a hook but Danger avoids it easily.
Brockett looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice defenses there by Danger.
Brockett fails to land with a series of punches.
Brockett is breathing heavily.
Brockett dodges the punch combination from Danger.
Danger displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brockett throws out the jab.

Brockett gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Danger to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Danger gets to his feet - Brockett follows without any prompting.

No joy there for Brockett, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Danger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brockett is fending him off so far but Danger persists. Nope, Brockett circles away and we're back to standing.
Bud Brockett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danger Danger.
Brockett throws a left and a right that both miss
and Danger counters with an inside leg kick.

Danger feints and as Brockett raises his hands in defense, Danger changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brockett is striking off his back. Danger thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Danger controlling the action here.
Brockett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Danger on the ground.
Danger passes to side control.

Brockett seems a little lost for a moment, as Danger dominates the positioning.
Brockett is looking for a sweep.
Brockett wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Danger taking a breather here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Danger working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brockett throws a combination that misses

and Danger counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Danger drags the fight down to the ground.

Danger is looking to sinch up a triangle. Brockett throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Danger's body to avoid the submission. Danger has instead reached around Brockett's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Danger arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
