Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Greg Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Greg Doyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Wilkins!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle throws the kick towards the body but Wilkins avoids it.
Doyle throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wilkins on the side of the head.


It looks like Paul Wilkins has been cut.
A big right from Doyle misses.
Wilkins closes the distance and clinches up with Doyle, looking for a takedown. Wilkins pushes Doyle against the cage but Doyle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Doyle throws a looping overhand right but Wilkins ducks down to avoid it.
Doyle buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Wilkins clinches.
Doyle has had enough of the clinch but Wilkins keeps him there for the moment.
Wilkins tries to land knees in the clinch but Doyle avoids the damage to the body.

Doyle manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wilkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wilkins uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Doyle.

Wilkins moves into the clinch successfully.
Wilkins keeps control of Doyle as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Doyle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wilkins missing with knees to the body.
Wilkins taking a breather.
A short left from Wilkins.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Doyle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wilkins tries to clinch but Doyle moves out of range.
Doyle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wilkins was well out of range. Poor timing from Doyle.
A chopping leg kick lands by Doyle.
Doyle is looking to slow Wilkins down with leg kicks.
Wilkins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Doyle misses with a hook. Wilkins ducked under it nicely.
Doyle misses with a looping left.
A head kick misses from Wilkins.
Wilkins blocks a head kick by Doyle.
A lazy left from Doyle finds it's target.


Wilkins is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Doyle ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Wilkins clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Greg Doyle!
