Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake LaMotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernie Whit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaMotta comes into the arena with Cavalleria Rusticana: Intermezzo blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by LaMotta - just one landing.
Whit looks to land a combination but LaMotta avoids it well.
Whit throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. LaMotta was covering up waiting for the punch and Whit finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Whit trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Whit must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jake LaMotta.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for LaMotta, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
