The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans lands a jab to the head.
Ruma shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Evans defends it nicely.
Ruma shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Evans as he jumps to the side.
Ruma shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Evans but Evans pushes him off and we're back to square one.
BA Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ismo Ruma.

Ruma shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evans pinned against the cage. Evans gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Evans lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Evans.

It looks like Ismo Ruma has been cut.

Evans cracks Ruma with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Ruma doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Evans looks to land a body kick but Ruma moved away.
