Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick McBride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Legionist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legionist looks to land a combination but McBride avoids it well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

McBride is working Legionist over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That was a close round but I would say that Patrick McBride will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McBride is going olschool here, as he tries to force Legionist to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Legionist shrugs it off.

McBride jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Legionist is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Legionist and McBride has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
