Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Galazin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Godlewski!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godlewski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Godlewski tries to close the distance and clinch but Galazin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Godlewski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Galazin defends it nicely.

and Godlewski counters with a nice double leg into side control. Galazin won't be happy with that.

Godlewski stands up and beckons Galazin to his feet.
Galazin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Godlewski.

Godlewski has managed to clinch.
Galazin tries to break the clinch but Godlewski is controlling the position.

Galazin jumps guard and drags Godlewski to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Godlewski won't allow Galazin to get back to his feet.

Galazin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Godlewski on the ground.

Let's hope that Godlewski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Galazin pushes Godlewski off looking to stand but Godlewski dives back in and keeps control.

and Godlewski counters by moving into the clinch.
Godlewski tries to pull guard but Galazin holds him up against the ropes and eventually Godlewski drops back down to his feet.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A close round but Chris Godlewski will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Galazin tries to clinch but Godlewski is having none of it.

Godlewski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Galazin was covering up waiting for the punch and Godlewski finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Godlewski shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Galazin napping and manages to drive through into side control!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Godlewski stalks Galazin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Galazin's face. Galazin staggers backwards, shaken.

Godlewski feints and as Galazin raises his hands in defense, Godlewski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Chris Godlewski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Godlewski's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Galazin thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Galazin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Galazin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Godlewski!
Godlewski is trying to reverse the position but instead Galazin has taken his back - oops!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tyler Galazin.
I think Godlewski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
