Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sombat Banchamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Sombat Banchamek has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sombat Banchamek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Forrest Austin!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banchamek tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Austin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A head kick from Banchamek lands but Austin takes it in his stride.


It looks like Forrest Austin has been cut.
Banchamek throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Austin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Banchamek napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Austin is trying to get an arm triangle but Banchamek is defending well.
Banchamek avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Austin.

Banchamek stops Austin from passing to mount.

Austin tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Austin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Banchamek, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Banchamek is trying to buck Austin off.

Austin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Austin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Austin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Banchamek can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Austin is going olschool here, as he tries to force Banchamek to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Banchamek shrugs it off.
Banchamek is breathing heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Austin scoring with strikes but Banchamek is staying in there.
Austin looking to control but Banchamek is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Austin looking to finish Banchamek with some ground and pound. This is bad for Banchamek!
Austin won't let Banchamek get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Banchamek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Austin on the ground.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Austin breaks from Banchamek's wrist control and lands an elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Austin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Banchamek sprawls well initially but Austin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Banchamek wants to get back to his feet.

Austin seems to be looking for submissions.
Austin lands with a punch from half guard.
Austin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Banchamek keeps working.

Austin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Banchamek is just riding it out for now. Austin eventually gives up the hold.

Banchamek wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Banchamek keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Austin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Austin scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Banchamek is trying to stand back up but Austin is controlling him
Austin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Banchamek is defending against the submission attempts here by Austin.
Austin is pressing down on Banchamek's thigh, looking to free his foot. Banchamek is holding on for now.

Austin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Banchamek pushes Austin off looking to stand but Austin dives back in and keeps control.
Austin tries to pass to full mount but Banchamek defends it.
Austin content to control rather than advance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A left and a right from Banchamek both land. Nice combination.
Banchamek throws a sloppy head kick and Austin moves out of range easily.

Banchamek clinches up with Austin and pushes him back against the cage.
Austin jumps guard but Banchamek stands there with Austin around his waist. Austin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Austin takes a knee to the side of the body.
Banchamek unloads a knee to the mid-section. Austin lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Banchamek is fighting off a takedown attempt but Austin is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Banchamek to the mat. Banchamek regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Austin wants to pass the guard but Banchamek is keeping the position.
Austin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Banchamek works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Forrest Austin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Forrest Austin has got the better of the ground game so far.

Austin wants to finish this one by submission but Banchamek is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Austin.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Austin stops Banchamek from getting back to his feet.

Austin seems to be working for a kimura but Banchamek defends the submission attempt.
Austin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

And that's the end of the fight!
Forrest Austin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Austin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
