Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and A W Rootbeer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rootbeer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Amburgers and Wootbeer. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Rootbeer uses his free foot to push down on Drake's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Drake.

Rootbeer is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Drake is surviving well by controlling Rootbeer's body position as best he can.
Rootbeer has control of Drake's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Drake regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Drake tries to pull guard but Rootbeer holds him up against the cage and eventually Drake drops back down to his feet.

Rootbeer gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Rootbeer turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rootbeer manages to end up in side control.
Rootbeer has hold of Drake's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Drake tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rootbeer cranks the arm and Drake screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Drake, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
