The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from LaRusso does no damage.
LaRusso keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Knowles tries to clinch but LaRusso is having none of it.
LaRusso keeps the fight on the outside.
LaRusso throws a nice looking combination but Knowles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
LaRusso scores with a crisp jab that stopped Knowles in his tracks.
Knowles dodges the punch combination from LaRusso.
LaRusso swinging wilding here.
LaRusso works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
LaRusso throws a nice looking combination but Knowles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Knowles shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Knowles takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Dedric Knowles has been cut.

Knowles tries to close the distance and clinch but LaRusso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
LaRusso rushes Knowles with punches - Knowles moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Knowles goes down! LaRusso follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
