Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Enrique Rizzo!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rizzo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Enrique Rizzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rizzo is looking to chop away at Black's legs.
Rizzo tried to score with a low kick but Black checks it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rizzo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Black wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Black takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Black throws a right and a left that Rizzo avoids nicely.

Black shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rizzo napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Black looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rizzo holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Black tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Rizzo is bucking up trying to escape but Black cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rizzo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Black wants to control the pace but Rizzo is squirming around nicely.
Rizzo is looking to get to half guard.

Black breaks from Rizzo's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rizzo wants to control but Black is having none of it.

Black is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Black fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rizzo manages to avoid it.

Rizzo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Black.
Rizzo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Rizzo tests Black's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Black blocks the body kick.

Rizzo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Black. That did some damage!
Rizzo throws a sloppy head kick and Black moves out of range easily.

Rizzo throws a leg kick which misses Black's front leg but catches the back leg as Black tries to avoid it.
Rizzo throws out a loose jab but Black uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rizzo misses with a hook. Black ducked under it nicely.

and Black counters with a two punch combo.

Black shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rizzo wants to land a leg kick but Black is out of range.
Rizzo closes the distance looking to clinch
and Black counters with a right hand to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Rizzo.

Rizzo swings away with a body shot that misses
and Black counters with a series of strikes. Rizzo will be more careful next time no doubt.

Rizzo cracks the inside of Black's front leg.
Rizzo stalks Black and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Black's face. Black staggers backwards, shaken.
Black takes a swing at Rizzo's ribcage but misses.
Rizzo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rizzo throws a shot from downtown. Black moves away and avoids it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Black has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Black there as he acknowledges the shot.
Enrique Rizzo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jack Black dominated that second round.
That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rizzo closes the distance but Black moves to the side

and Black decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rizzo's guard.
Rizzo can't keep his opponent in guard - Black advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Black is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

and Black counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Rizzo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Black looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Black tries for a takedown but Rizzo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Black counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rizzo won't be happy with that.

Black is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rizzo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Black tries to move to mount but Rizzo blocks the move with his legs.
Jack Black is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Rizzo is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Black decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rizzo to his feet.
Black circles away from the clinch attempt
and Black counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Rizzo is looking to land body kicks.
Rizzo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rizzo throws out a leg kick but Black moves out of range and Rizzo only half commits.
Good exchange - Rizzo coming out on top.
Black fails to land with a series of punches.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Black gets the takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Rizzo's face as Black controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jack Black showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Black has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
