Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrade misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Andrade tries to score a power double leg takedown but Martinez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Andrade somewhat.
Andrade is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Martinez leaves Andrade with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Liopaldo Martinez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guilherme Andrade.
Andrade shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Martinez defends it nicely.

Martinez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Andrade was covering up waiting for the punch and Martinez finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Martinez wants to pass the guard but Andrade is keeping the position.
Andrade controls Martinez momentarily but Martinez frees himself.
Andrade wants to sweep but no luck.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Martinez tries to free his leg and advance position but Andrade is retaining full guard.
Martinez is looking to stand up but Andrade won't let him.

Martinez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Andrade looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Andrade looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Andrade!
Martinez is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Andrade's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Martinez has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Andrade. Oh but Martinez has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Andrade goes limp - he's gone! Martinez jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
