Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Braulio Estima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Van Candy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Candy has chosen To Catch a Predator as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Braulio Estima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Van Candy!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Candy feints and as Estima raises his hands in defense, Candy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Candy wants to control from the top but Estima keeps moving.
Estima tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Estima is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Candy is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Candy trying to control the position from guard on top but Estima is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Estima keeping full guard, as Candy tries to pass.
Estima wants to sweep but no luck.
Estima keeping moving, preventing Candy from controlling successfully.

Candy avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Estima throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Estima utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Candy lands a couple of digs.

Candy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Estima has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Candy has managed to get both his arms back between Estima's legs - danger averted.

Estima had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Candy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Estima Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Candy's back instead.
Estima doesn't have the hooks in and Candy manages to turn into his guard.
Candy wants to control from the top but Estima keeps moving.
Candy stays in close to Estima's body and controls the position.
Estima will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Candy throwing strikes from guard but Estima blocks nicely.
Candy looking to sit in guard and control but Estima gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Candy is controlling Estima's posture.

Estima is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Candy rolls with it to try and escape but Estima cranks on the arm and Candy is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
