Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roger Schwarzeneg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Juskki Garganius!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Garganius looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Schwarzeneg closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Schwarzeneg lands in his opponent's guard.

Schwarzeneg stands and steps away. Garganius gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Schwarzeneg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Garganius's guard.

Garganius wants to stand and escape but Schwarzeneg is having none of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Schwarzeneg decides to stand back up. Schwarzeneg steps back and let's Garganius get back to his feet.
Garganius stuffs the takedown attempt from Schwarzeneg. Schwarzeneg gets slowly back to his feet.

Schwarzeneg clinches with his opponent.
Schwarzeneg lands a nice elbow.
Schwarzeneg blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Schwarzeneg decides to pull guard.
Garganius postures up.
Schwarzeneg on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Schwarzeneg tries to get out of the position.
Schwarzeneg throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Schwarzeneg pushes Garganius off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Schwarzeneg lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Schwarzeneg fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Garganius, pushing him back against the cage.
Garganius is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Schwarzeneg stalling in the clinch but Garganius improves position.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Schwarzeneg.
A frustrated look appears on Garganius's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Schwarzeneg keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Garganius's efforts to push away.
Garganius misses with a hook to the ribs.

and Schwarzeneg counters with a takedown into side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Garganius is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Schwarzeneg has just dragged him back down to the mat.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roger Schwarzeneg dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Schwarzeneg clinches up with Garganius and pushes him back against the cage.
Garganius wants to break the clinch but can't.

so Schwarzeneg counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Schwarzeneg decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Garganius, up you get!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Schwarzeneg.

Schwarzeneg decides to stand back up. Schwarzeneg steps back and let's Garganius get back to his feet.
Garganius throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Schwarzeneg counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Garganius's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schwarzeneg gets to his feet. Garganius looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Schwarzeneg changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Garganius looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Schwarzeneg decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Garganius gets a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Garganius stalling against the cage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Schwarzeneg jumps guard and drags Garganius to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Garganius won't allow Schwarzeneg to sweep him here.
Garganius tries to stand but Schwarzeneg is controlling from the bottom.
Schwarzeneg has control of Garganius's left arm, preventing Garganius from doing any damage.

Schwarzeneg has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Garganius should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Schwarzeneg has tightened it up now! Garganius should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
