The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Bob, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Bob against the cage but Bob circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bob shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bob wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Bob is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Bob has managed to sneak the leg through.

Bob is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bob wants to pass the guard but Silva is defending well.
