Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard Larondelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Grohl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larondelle comes to the cage accompanied by Harder to Breathe. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grohl misses with a series of wild punches.
Grohl throws a right and a left that both miss.
Larondelle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Some wild striking there from Grohl.
Larondelle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Grohl looks to land a combination. Larondelle sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Larondelle takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Larondelle plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

and Grohl counters with a one-two to the body.

Larondelle looks to land a body kick but Grohl moved away.

Grohl is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Larondelle is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Larondelle has escaped and now he's on top!
Grohl working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Larondelle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Larondelle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Larondelle drops back looking for a leg! Grohl is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Grohl manages to kick Larondelle off! Larondelle jumps back into Grohl's guard.
Grohl manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Larondelle manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Grohl is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Grohl is working an open guard so Larondelle takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Grohl throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Larondelle.

Grohl cracks Larondelle with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Grohl shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Grohl was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Grohl is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Larondelle has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Larondelle!

Larondelle jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Grohl is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Grohl and Larondelle has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I would just about give that final round to Dave Grohl.
