Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthor Basilicus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryuu Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basilicus is looking to chop away at Matsumoto's legs.
Matsumoto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Basilicus but Basilicus pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Matsumoto shoots in for a double leg but Basilicus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Basilicus just misses with a punch to the body.
Matsumoto throws a jab but it's blocked by Basilicus.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Matsumoto.
Anthor Basilicus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryuu Matsumoto.
Basilicus slaps away a takedown attempt from Matsumoto, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Basilicus slips a jab and a cross from Matsumoto.
Some bone on bone action there as Matsumoto checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Basilicus turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Basilicus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matsumoto manages to avoid it.
Basilicus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Matsumoto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nice takedown defense from Basilicus. No joy for Matsumoto on that attempt.

Matsumoto wants to control the pace but Basilicus is squirming around nicely.

Basilicus is looking to improve his position but Matsumoto isn't that keen on the idea.

Basilicus has left one of his arms exposed and Matsumoto doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Basilicus screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
