Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silakka takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Vera changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silakka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Silakka takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Vera scores with a couple of short elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vera has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silakka takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Vera lands a strong strike to the head of Silakka. That's dazed him! Vera looking to finish here. Silakka is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Vera lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
