The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredriksson punishes Mielikanen's body with a nice straight punch.
Fredriksson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mielikanen loads up on a big right hand but Fredriksson slips the punch.

Fredriksson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Mielikanen throws a chopping leg kick but Fredriksson manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Fredriksson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Horrible takedown by Fredriksson or perhaps it was just good defense by Mielikanen which made him look bad.

Fredriksson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mielikanen but Mielikanen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Fredriksson clobbers Mielikanen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Fredriksson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fredriksson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mielikanen backs up against the ropes.

That has opened up Marko Mielikanen's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mielikanen takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fredriksson looks to land a combination. Mielikanen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

The cut above Marko Mielikanen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fredriksson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Marko Mielikanen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Fredriksson lands a with a good body shot.
Fredriksson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Fredriksson cracks Mielikanen with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
A combination from Fredriksson does no damage.
