Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonald comes into the arena with I Stand Alone blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McDonald.

McDonald is looking to advance position but Banner won't allow it.

McDonald is working for an americana but Banner has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst McDonald was thinking about the submission.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McDonald cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McDonald is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Banner can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

McDonald is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Banner is surviving well by controlling McDonald's body position as best he can.
Banner wants to hold on but McDonald pushes him away.
McDonald seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Banner is holding on tight.

McDonald is going olschool here, as he tries to force Banner to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Banner shrugs it off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McDonald postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Banner looks a forlorn figure.
Banner tries to hold on but McDonald pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McDonald feints and as Banner raises his hands in defense, McDonald changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Banner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McDonald bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Banner's guard.

McDonald has an Americana. Banner didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! McDonald is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if McDonald hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
