The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort tries to clinch up but wells circles away and keeps his distance.

It looks like ben wells has been cut.

Belfort lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but wells circles away quickly and effectively.

wells closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - wells lands in his opponent's guard.

wells postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Belfort isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. wells stacks Belfort on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by wells!
