The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Stevensen.
crower keeps the fight on the outside.
Stevensen clobbers crower with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nice takedown defense from Stevensen. No joy for crower on that attempt.
Stevensen drops crower with a right and a left! Stevensen comes rushing in but crower regains his composure and manages to keep Stevensen in guard.

It looks like jim crower has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
crower wants to stand and escape but Stevensen is having none of it.
Stevensen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for crower on the ground.
crower tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Stevensen got a little sloppy there for a moment and crower has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stevensen has managed to get both his arms back between crower's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Stevensen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Stevensen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stevensen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Deshawn Stevensen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
