Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Takata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kane Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinya Takata is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shinya Takata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kane Riddick!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takata is looking to score with low kicks.
Riddick shoots in for a takedown but Takata shows good takedown defense.
Takata feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Riddick looking for a guillotine here but Takata defends easily.
Riddick avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Takata's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Takata working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Riddick not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Riddick has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Takata is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Riddick.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riddick takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Takata stands up.
Takata scores with a hook to the body. Riddick takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Riddick looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Takata lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Kane Riddick has been cut.
Riddick leaves Takata with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Takata throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Riddick tumbling to the canvas!
Riddick is rocked!
Takata postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Riddick covers up, he's hurt! Takata keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Takata and the ref steps in to end the fight! Takata can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shinya Takata!
