Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Fabiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Paolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabiano comes to the cage accompanied by Sérgio Mendes - Batucada. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paolo cracks Fabiano with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fabiano shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Paolo as he avoids it easily.

Paolo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fabiano shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fabiano shoots in for a takedown but Paolo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fabiano throws and elbow that misses. Paolo uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fabiano's guard. Nice move by Paolo!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fabiano bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Paolo's guard.

Fabiano throws a strike but Paolo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Paolo is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Fabiano has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Paolo is looking to defend but Fabiano has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Paolo! Fabiano pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Paolo taps out and this one is all over!
