Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarel shoots for a double leg takedown but Summers sprawls well. He's pushed McCarel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McCarel is defended easily by Summers.
No luck for McCarel with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven McCarel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Summers shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Summers is trying to control. McCarel wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
McCarel is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Summers pulls his head out easily.
McCarel on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Summers tries to pass to full mount but McCarel defends it.
McCarel is refusing to be controlled, as Summers sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Summers passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for McCarel!
Summers stands up from mount. Strange move.
McCarel with a lazy takedown attempt
and Summers counters with an outside leg kick.
McCarel is breathing heavily.
McCarel moves out of range of the body kick from Summers.
McCarel scores with a takedown into Summers's guard.
McCarel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Summers doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Summers kicks McCarel off and gets to his feet.
Summers wants to clinch.
Summers wants to clinch up but McCarel keeps it at a distance.

Summers moves in looking to clinch but McCarel pushes him off.
McCarel could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Summers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Summers content just to control the position here.

McCarel manages to regain half guard. Good work.
McCarel has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Summers. Oh but McCarel has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Summers goes limp - he's gone! McCarel jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
