PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janko Zwyzke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zwyzke comes to the cage accompanied by Primal Concrete Sledge. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zwyzke swinging wilding here.
Zwyzke shoots in but Lesnor avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zwyzke will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Zwyzke throws a right and a left that Lesnor avoids nicely.
Zwyzke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lesnor defends it nicely.

Lesnor clinches up against the cage.
Lesnor jumps guard but Zwyzke stands there with Lesnor around his waist. Lesnor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lesnor tries to pass to full mount but Zwyzke defends it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lesnor wants to clinch up but Zwyzke keeps it at a distance.
Zwyzke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lesnor moves away.

Lesnor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zwyzke pinned against the cage. Zwyzke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Lesnor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Zwyzke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lesnor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lesnor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lesnor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zwyzke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lesnor has managed to get both his arms back between Zwyzke's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zwyzke throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lesnor was covering up waiting for the punch and Zwyzke finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Janko Zwyzke will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Zwyzke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lesnor but Lesnor pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Zwyzke has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lesnor uses from the top position.

Well Lesnor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
