PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Muller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lancett Cridle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cridle comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Counterfeit by Limp Bizkit kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Muller moves in looking to clinch but Cridle pushes him off.

Cridle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Muller to the mat! Muller manages to get full guard.
Cridle controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Muller wants to control the position but Cridle says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cridle is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Muller's shoulder. That is not cool.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Muller is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Muller has his hands clasped together around Cridle's back. He's all about the action.
