The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escudero lands a big head kick that sends Velasquez tumbling to the mat! Escudero takes a step backwards and waves Velasquez back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Velasquez is rocked!
It looks like Junior Velasquez has been cut.
Escudero fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Velasquez, pushing him back against the cage.
Velasquez is still on wobbly legs! Can Escudero finish him?
Escudero's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Escudero has Velasquez up against the cage in a clinch.
Escudero lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Escudero lands a big right hand that drops Velasquez! The killer instinct kicks in and Escudero finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Escudero!
