Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bongo Bongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brett Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phillips tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The fight stays on the outside here - Phillips looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bongo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Phillips finds it's way round the side to connect with Bongo's head.
Phillips shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bongo but Bongo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Phillips wants to clinch up but Bongo keeps it at a distance.
Phillips dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Phillips is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bongo tries a head kick but it misses.
Phillips throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bongo wants to clinch.

Bongo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Phillips, pushing him back against the cage.
Bongo lands a knee to the head.

It looks like Brett Phillips has been cut.
Bongo with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Phillips is trying to break the clinch but Bongo has him pressed against the cage.

Phillips decides to pull guard.
Bongo wants to get up but he can't break Phillips's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Phillips wants to get back to his feet but Bongo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Bongo tries to stand but Phillips is controlling from the bottom.

Phillips is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bongo is controlling him.
Phillips doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Phillips tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Phillips trying to keep a closed guard but Bongo is proving a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bongo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Phillips.

Phillips tries to clinch but Bongo moves away

and Bongo counters by clinching up.
Bongo misses with a knee strike.
Bongo stalling.
Bongo connects with a nasty looking knee right to Phillips's face.

Bongo breaks the clinch.
Bongo throws a sloppy head kick and Phillips moves out of range easily.

Phillips throws a jab but it's blocked by Bongo.
Phillips misses with a combination

and Bongo counters by clinching up.
Bongo connects with a knee to the head.

Bongo breaks the clinch.
Good exchange - Phillips coming out on top.

Bongo rushes Phillips and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bongo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Phillips throws a shot from downtown. Bongo moves away and avoids it.

and Bongo counters with a head kick that drops Phillips to the mat! Phillips scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

A clash of legs there as Bongo blocks the low kick.
Phillips closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bongo counters with a flying knee that drops Phillips! Bongo dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
