PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Austin Luck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerrero is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cypress Hill. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luck dives in and grabs Guerrero's left leg, looking for a takedown. Guerrero pushes down on Luck's head and hops out.
Guerrero defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Luck.
Luck moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Luiz Guerrero has been cut.

Luck moves into range and clinches up with Guerrero.

Luck jumps into guard, dragging Guerrero to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luck is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guerrero is controlling him.
Guerrero loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Guerrero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luck swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Guerrero wanted to stand there but Luck had control of the position.

Guerrero controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Luck looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Guerrero puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Guerrero not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Guerrero tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Luck swivels and escapes.
Luck tries to bum rush Guerrero with a series of wild strikes but Guerrero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Guerrero gets a takedown into half guard.
Luck is staying active underneath Guerrero, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Guerrero prevents Luck from improving his position.
Guerrero wants to stand but Luck has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Guerrero is looking to pass Luck's guard but actually Luck recovers to full guard.

Luck is looking to sinch up a triangle. Guerrero throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Luck's body to avoid the submission. Luck has instead reached around Guerrero's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Luck arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
