The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cox lands with a right hand.
Cox lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Cox swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Amirov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Cox misses with a few strikes there.
Milo Cox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cox cracks Amirov with a good jab.
Cox connects with the punch.

Amirov scores a takedown into full mount!
Amirov landing strikes, looking to finish!
Amirov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Amirov wants to control the pace but Cox is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Amirov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

It looks like Milo Cox has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Amirov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cox looks a forlorn figure.

That has opened up Milo Cox's cut even more.
Cox is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Amirov lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Milo Cox's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Milo Cox's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
