Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alistair Hazs!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazs throws a nice head kick!
A slow jab from Duncan misses its intended target.
Hazs finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Duncan slips under a jab from Hazs.
Hazs throws a head kick that misses.
Hazs lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hazs misses with a double jab.
Hazs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Duncan cracks Hazs with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Duncan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hazs to stand back up!


It looks like Alistair Hazs has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hazs shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hazs throws a leg kick but Duncan sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Duncan loads up on a big right hand but Hazs slips the punch.
Duncan blocks a head kick by Hazs.
Hazs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hazs swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Duncan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Duncan throws a right and a left that Hazs avoids nicely.
Duncan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Duncan doesn't manage to clinch there - Hazs circles away.
Duncan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Duncan is looking to clinch but Hazs is avoiding it.
Alistair Hazs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duncan avoids the head kick by Hazs.
Hazs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duncan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hazs throws a head kick that misses.

Duncan instigates a clinch.
Hazs is trying to break free.

Hazs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Duncan tries to clinch up but Hazs circles away and keeps his distance.
Hazs connects with a solid leg kick.
Hazs lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Duncan is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hazs lands with an uppercut that bounces Duncan off the cage and back into rage.
Hazs fakes the leg kick and cracks Duncan in the body.
Hazs swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Duncan counters with a series of strikes. Hazs will be more careful next time no doubt.
A jab from Hazs finds it's way through Duncan's defenses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hazs.
Hazs thumps Duncan with a low kick.
Hazs moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hazs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hazs lands a jab-cross combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hazs lands a really nice looking cross but Duncan seems unphased.
Hazs is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Duncan.
Hazs chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hazs throws the kick towards the body but Duncan avoids it.
Hazs fakes the leg kick and cracks Duncan in the body.

Hazs lands a left and a right that send Duncan crashing to the mat, dazed. Hazs thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Duncan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Alistair Hazs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hazs.
A jab from Hazs finds it's way through Duncan's defenses.
Hazs lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duncan circles away quickly and effectively.
Hazs uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hazs scores with a leg kick.
Hazs lands with a cross.
Hazs dodges the punch combination from Duncan.
Duncan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hazs throws a series of strikes that have Duncan backpedaling.
Some bone on bone action there as Duncan checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hazs connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hazs throws a right and a left that both miss.
Duncan is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Duncan tries to clinch up.
Hazs moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Duncan ducks under a wild hook from Hazs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alistair Hazs dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Duncan takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hazs.
Hazs throws a sloppy head kick and Duncan moves out of range easily.
Duncan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Duncan waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Hazs.
Duncan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Duncan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hazs finds it's way round the side to connect with Duncan's head.

Hazs lands a left and a right that send Duncan crashing to the mat, dazed. Hazs thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Duncan takes one to the chin there.
Crunch! Hazs slams his shin into Duncan's torso.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hazs fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Hazs sends Duncan crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hazs is motioning to the referee to let Duncan up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Duncan is rocked!

Hazs throws a sloppy head kick and Duncan moves out of range easily.
Hazs is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Duncan hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Alistair Hazs!
