Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonic Hustle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hustle throws a series of punches but Hall moves out of range.
Hall tries to land a leg kick but Hustle saw it coming and moves away.

Hustle has Hall pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hustle pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hall tumbling to the mat - Hustle dives into Hall's guard.

Hustle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hall's guard.
Hustle has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hall has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hustle off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Hall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hall stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Hustle will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hall throws a right and a left that Hustle avoids nicely.

Hustle has managed to clinch.
Hall wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hustle has him pressed against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hustle wants to get up but he can't break Hall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hustle drops back looking for a leg! Hall is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hall manages to kick Hustle off! Hustle jumps back into Hall's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hall lands a nice shot to the body.
A left and a right from Hall both land. Nice combination.
Hall moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Hall throws a right hand that Hustle ducks under and follows up with a left that Hustle also avoids with ease.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Hall counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hustle thinking.
Hustle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hall but Hall pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Horrible takedown by Hall or perhaps it was just good defense by Hustle which made him look bad.

No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hall lunges at Hustle with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hustle's hand.

Hall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hustle.
