The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant swats away the attempt to clinch by Scherbatsky.
Grant misses with the combination.
Grant avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Scherbatsky ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The fight stays on the outside here - Scherbatsky looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Scherbatsky doesn't manage to clinch there - Grant circles away.

Grant looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Scherbatsky wants to stand but Grant is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grant throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Grant prevents Scherbatsky from getting back to his feet.
Scherbatsky preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Grant won't allow Scherbatsky to get back to his feet.

Grant connects with a couple of short punches.
Scherbatsky is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Grant dives into side control.
Grant moves into full mount!
Grant fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
