Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teacher misses with a jab, cross combination.
Richards moves in looking to clinch but Teacher pushes him off.
Richards lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Teacher circles away quickly and effectively.
Teacher misses with a double jab

and Richards moves into the clinch.
Teacher drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Richards gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Teacher tries to circle away but Richards has him pinned against the cage.
Richards prevents Teacher from breaking the clinch.

Teacher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Teacher throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Richards connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Teacher clinches but Richards breaks the clinch

and Richards counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
A frustrated look appears on Teacher's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Richards is pushing Teacher up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Teacher is looking to break free of the clinch but Richards has double underhooks.

Richards is pressed up against the cage. Teacher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Richards down to the mat. Richards avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Richards throws a right and a left that Teacher avoids nicely.

and Richards counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Richards.

Teacher looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Richards blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Teacher drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Richards gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junkie Teacher. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Richards lands with a left to the head.
Still in the clinch, Richards scores with a nice short uppercut.

Teacher manages to break the clinch.
Richards feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Teacher crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
