Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between micah Parris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Forte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Parris might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to invincible. micah Parris has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Parris closes this distance looking for a takedown but Forte circles away.
Forte shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Forte tries to clinch there but Parris circles away.
Parris misses with a takedown
and Forte counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Forte.
Parris decides to pull guard.
Forte must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Parris struggles to land a body shot inside as Forte controls his hands.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Parris just misses with a elbow thrown towards Forte's brow.

Parris is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Parris controls Forte momentarily but Forte frees himself.
Parris throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Parris is trying to control the position from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Parris controlling the position.
Parris had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Forte is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Parris Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Forte's back instead.
Forte tries to break free.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Parris's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Forte tries to roll but Parris sticks to his back.

Parris gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Good control from Parris.
Parris tries to get the hooks in deep but Forte pushed the leg off.
Parris has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Forte's body.
Forte just trying to survive but Parris is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Parris lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Parris is working the ground and pound. Can Forte escape?
Parris is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Forte has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Parris has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Forte taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Parris doesn't care though - he's delighted!
