Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taka Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by George Straits- The Fireman. Tanaka is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Muse - Citizen Erased. Taka Tanaka has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Liddell.
Liddell throws a head kick that misses.
Liddell looks to land a left hand but Tanaka moved out of range nicely.
Tanaka forces Liddell back against the cage and clinches.
Tanaka stalls.
Tanaka blocks an uppercut.

Liddell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tanaka.
Liddell throws a leg kick but Tanaka sees it coming and moves out of range.
Tanaka takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Liddell misses with a series of wild punches.
Liddell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Liddell throws a shot from downtown. Tanaka moves away and avoids it.

Liddell looks to throw the jab but Tanaka is out of range.

Liddell throws a leg kick which misses Tanaka's front leg but catches the back leg as Tanaka tries to avoid it.
Liddell swings for the body but Tanaka moves out of range.
Liddell lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Liddell thows a body shot but no joy.
Liddell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Liddell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Liddell's corner calls for a 1-2. Liddell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Liddell cracks Tanaka with a left hook right on the temple and Tanaka goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Liddell lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Tanaka is OK!
