The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
King takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rogers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before King has time to react.
Rogers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King.
Rogers throws a hook but King blocks it.
Rogers throws a body punch but King moves out of range.
Rogers misses with a double jab.
A combination from Rogers does no damage.
King shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rogers as he avoids it easily.
Rogers scores with a decent looking hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rogers misses with a wild body shot.

Rogers thows a body shot but no joy.
Rogers cracks a nice hook into King's ribs.
King tries to clinch up but Rogers circles away and keeps his distance.
King slips a jab and a cross from Rogers.

King takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Rogers lands with an uppercut that bounces King off the cage and back into rage.
Rogers tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but King was well out of range. Poor timing from Rogers.
Rogers catches King with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
This has been an exciting period of action!

King tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rogers cracks King with an open hand slap.

King takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Rogers lands a left and a right that send King crashing to the mat, dazed. Rogers thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

King is rocked!
Johnny Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rogers dances in with a quick combination. King is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Rogers snaps King's head back. King stumbles backwards against the cage. Rogers steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with King's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. King just didn't come prepared.
