Jeremy has chosen Pantera - Walk as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeremy throws a nice looking combination but Merker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Merker has managed to clinch.
Jeremy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Merker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Jeremy turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Jeremy working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Merker is looking to reverse the position.

Jeremy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Jeremy cracks Merker with a big right hand but Merker just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jeremy is nestled in close to Merker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jeremy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Merker!
Merker is trying to escape the mount.
Merker wants to get back to his feet.
Merker is breathing heavily.

Jeremy looking to isolate an arm here. Merker doesn't see it coming and as Jeremy extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Jeremy!
