Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melly Manpoof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fahir Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fahir Hassan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manpoof drops Hassan with a right and a left! Manpoof comes rushing in but Hassan regains his composure and manages to keep Manpoof in guard.
It looks like Fahir Hassan has been cut.
Manpoof is pushing down on Hassan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hassan is fighting to maintain full guard but Manpoof has managed to sneak the leg through.
Hassan is trying to control but can't.
Manpoof keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Hassan trying to hold on to Manpoof's head to control him but Manpoof postures up.
Manpoof is controlling the pace.

Manpoof looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Hassan is looking for a sweep. Manpoof is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hassan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hassan is trying to maintain the position but Manpoof is very close to passing his half guard.
Manpoof is controlling the pace.
Manpoof is trying to control. Hassan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hassan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hassan.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hassan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hassan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Manpoof scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hassan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Melly Manpoof has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fahir Hassan.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hassan.
Manpoof misses with the combination.
Manpoof looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Manpoof scores with a punch to the head.
Manpoof slaps away a takedown attempt from Hassan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hassan looks gassed!
Manpoof drops Hassan with a left right combo! Manpoof follows him down to the ground into side control.
Hassan is rocked!
Manpoof is staying tight to Hassan's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Hassan is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Hassan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Manpoof moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Manpoof wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hassan keeps working.
Manpoof happy to just control the position for now.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Melly Manpoof just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Manpoof cracks Hassan with a hook to the temple - Hassan is on wobbly legs here! Manpoof swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Hassan falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Manpoof wins by TKO!
