Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thaigo Leites (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law's entrance music is Dragon's Nest - Tekken 5. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Leites's choice of entrance music: Sunday Bloody Sunday - U2. Thaigo Leites has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Law. No joy for Leites on that attempt.
Leites shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Law as he avoids it easily.

Leites has control of Law's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Law regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Leites on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leites tries to get out of the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Law stays in close to Leites's body and controls the position.
Leites wants to sweep here but Law controlling him for the moment.

Law avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Leites tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Leites has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Law can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Leites fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Law sprawls well initially but Leites persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Leites seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Law does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Leites is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Law is just riding it out for now. Leites eventually gives up the hold.

Law lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Law lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Law has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Law and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Leites shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Law pinned against the cage. Law gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
