Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Demein Colette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colette comes into the arena with progenies of the great apocalypse blaring out of the sound system. Davis has chosen Rancid-Last one to Die as his entrance music. Demein Colette had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colette takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Nate Davis has been cut.
Colette takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Colette takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Davis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Davis is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Colette has escaped the position, nice work there.

Davis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Colette is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Colette is defending against the submission attempts here by Davis.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd cheers as Davis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Colette doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Colette moves forwards but Davis connects with a nice, crisp jab.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Colette doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Colette manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
