aoki throws his legs up looking for a submission but griffin uses it to pass to side control.
aoki tries to buck griffin off but griffin is having none of it.

griffin tries for a kimura but aoki is defending well.

griffin has knee on belly and moves into mount.
aoki keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

griffin has control of aoki's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and aoki regains control of the situation pretty easily.

aoki is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. griffin locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! aoki is forced to tap!
