The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Steven loads up on a big right hand but Silva slips the punch.
Steven drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Steven in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Steven won't allow Silva to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva pushes a forearm under Steven's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Steven is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
