And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marco Belfort!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Marco Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slider throws a sloppy head kick and Belfort moves out of range easily.

Belfort closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Slider to the mat! Slider manages to get full guard.
Slider is trying to control the position but Belfort postures up.
Slider keeping full guard, as Belfort tries to pass.
Belfort pushes down on Slider's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Slider keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Belfort is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Slider sees it coming and defends easily.
Slider blocking the ground and pound attempt from Belfort.
Slider tries to get to full guard but Belfort has control of the leg.
Slider is trying to stand up here but Belfort is controlling him well.

Belfort throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Belfort seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Slider has recovered full guard.
Slider wants to stand up but Belfort is controlling him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Slider has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Slider throws a nice looking combination but Belfort bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Slider counters with a two punch combo.

and Slider counters with a head kick. That will keep Belfort thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Slider lands with a kick to the temple. Belfort shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Slider misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Slider counters with a two punch combo.

Belfort is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Slider throws a monster overhand right that drops Belfort! Slider follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
